Background Images #

As a general rule, the size of the original epitome is kept. If the image is also large to fit, if will be clipped. You can rescale the image with %%bg.cover or %%bg.comprise.

Utilise

%%bg.embrace

to scale the paradigm as large as possible and maintains its aspect ratio (prototype doesn't get squished). The image "covers" the unabridged width or height of the container. When the image and container take different dimensions, the image is clipped either left/correct or top/bottom.

Fixed #

By default the background paradigm scrolls with the content of the page.

When using %%bg.stock-still the background remains fixed with regard to the viewport.

Therefore, scrolling will affect only the content of the page; the background remains fixed. During scrolling dissimilar parts of the background will be revealed.

Eligibility of text#

Depending on the color range or brightness of the groundwork image, the readability of the overlay content of the folio may be affected. Here are some means to improve the eligibility of the folio content.

Text Styles#

Change the colour of the text: text-white, text-black.

Epitome Styles #

Adding Epitome Styles to the background can change its effulgence, colour, saturation, etc. and meliorate the contrast with the overlay content.
Possible styles: night, light, grayscale, sepia, saturate-2, saturate-viii, hue-rotate-ane, hue-rotate-ii, hue-rotate3, capsize, brightness, contrast-2, contrast-x, mistiness.
